I went with Jules and Jimmy to the RC track in Ferntree Gully today. This was my first time at a real track so it was a pretty amazing experience. You finally get to see what these cars are actually made for!

We only got about 15 mins in before my front servo died and I lost the ability to go left, shortly followed by the loss of right. So, game over :(

But still, a totally awesome thing to do, I highly recommend it.

It was Jimmy’s first time on camera and he did a pretty good job!

Axel began crawling yesterday, I was lucky enough to get his 2nd ever crawl on camera about half and hour ago.

This months slide show. Axel has been sick quite a bit, just cold after cold, he’s been pretty happy considering.

Today he crawled forward for the first time while we were visiting Jess, his great grandmother, so that was pretty exciting.

I figure I’ve got about a week before I have to start seriously baby proofing the house!

Just in the last week Axel has begun furniture surfing. He gets more confident every day, which usually results in some sort of face plant.

I been getting a bit disillusioned lately with my 35mm film process. The place I use in Malvern Central really made a mess of my last few rolls; the film and scans came back with some sort of dirty chemical all over them.

So I’m back to my great love - Polaroid!

I’m using a Polaroid 680SE, Polaroid 600 SLR and a Polaroid Spectra with what I think are the last four packs of Spectra film in Australia. I don’t know why I’m so attracted to obsolete technologies. The camera is quite amazing though.

Apart from the 600 shots (the square ones) the film I’m using is at least five years out of date, so the results are mixed.

A mixed bag of shots from my iPhone. It’s a primitive camera but I have it on me all the time so it becomes a kind of visual diary of my life out and about.
